Media and Power in Washington
Examines relationship between the press and government in defining the national agenda. How does news media in Washington work? How do various centers of power - in Congress, the federal bureaucracy, lobbyists, think tanks - jostle for advantage and a voice? Follow contemporary news events, read into history of relations between government and press, and meet journalists engaged in deciphering the stream of message, policy and politics.
