Various models of the impact of political-military dynamics on international economic relationships, and the impact of international economics on the likelihood of war and peace among nations. Attention to the interplay between economics and security in a key region of the world—East Asia. Prerequisite: one course in international relations, foreign policy, or diplomatic history.
