The Duke Program in American Grand Strategy will welcome Michael "Mike" R. Pompeo as our guest for the Spring 2025 Ambassador Dave and Kay Phillips Family International Lecture hosted by Professor Peter Feaver. The event will take place on Monday, February 10, 2025, from 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM in Page Auditorium (402 Chapel Drive, Durham, NC 27708).
Mike Pompeo was the 70th Secretary of State (2018-2021) and Former Director of the CIA (2017-2018) of the United States of America. Pompeo served four terms as an elected Congressional Representative for the Fourth District of Kansas. He attended the United States Military Academy at West Point where he graduated at the top of his class. In addition, he also served as a cavalry officer in the U.S. Army, where he led troops that patrolled the Iron Curtain. Pompeo is also a graduate of Harvard Law School where he served as editor of the Harvard Law Review.
Tickets are required to attend this event and must be requested via the Duke Ticket office at tickets.duke.edu. Tickets must be requested online NO LATER than Monday, February 3rd by 12:00 PM. This event is open to students, faculty, staff, and affiliates of Duke.
