Duke Political Scientist, Kyle Beardsley, wins 'Book of the Year Prize'
Kyle Beardsley's recent book Equal Opportunity Peacekeeping (Oxford), has just been awarded the Book of the Year Prize by the Conflict Research Society. "The Conflict Research Society Book of the Year Prize honours research that is contemporary, exceptional, and world leading, and which provides an invaluable contribution to the literature on conflict and peace studies, very broadly defined. It is an annual prize selected from nominations made by leading authorities around the world in the areas of conflict and/or peace studies."1 The prize will be awarded at the CRS Conference in September at Oxford University, where Kyle and his co-author Sabrina Karim will present their work in a plenary session.
