Alumni Network

Connecting the Duke Community

Alumni connections are among the most enduring benefits of a Duke education—opening doors to new contacts, career prospects, and opportunities.

Through the new Duke Alumni site, our alumni can find more than 160,000 Duke alums in one place, while current Duke students have unprecedented access to profiles of Duke alumni from around the world. This allows alumni to search for classmates, view alumni profiles, join groups, and sign up for alumni events around the world. And it enables current Duke students to easily find alumni, reach out to make introductions, and explore career options.

How to Access the Network

Alumni

Duke’s OneLink system allows you to access Duke sites and systems, including the alumni network. With OneLink, you can use either social media accounts or sign in and pick your own unique username and password. Once you register with OneLink, you can access all Duke sites that support the system.

If you are already signed up with OneLink, you can access the alumni network by visiting the alumni sign and clicking the green sign in button at the top of the page. If you haven’t created your OneLink account, select the “Create your Duke OneLink” button to register.

Students
  • Visit the Alumni site and click the green sign in button at the top of the page
  • Select the sign in now option
  • At the bottom of the new page, select the Duke NetID login link at the bottom of the page and enter your credentials

Connecting Alumni & Students

As part of the new Duke Alumni website, current Duke students have limited access to alumni information. If a student would like to reach out to an alum, that student will be guided through a form that will send an email to the alum’s preferred email address. Alumni can then either respond/engage with the student, or not.

Alumni have the ability at any time to opt out of being searchable or contactable by students. Or, they can make their profile more searchable by checking the “contact me about” box in their profile—indicating they have more of a willingness to be contacted.

Students are encouraged to watch the brief "How to Network" video below before reaching out to alums.
