The application of the tools of 'Public Choice' (methodological individualism, behavioral symmetry, and treating 'politics as exchange') in the context of US political institutions. A focus on the relation between Congress and the President, and the role of judicial review, as outlined by the US Constitution. For seniors only. Recommended prerequisite: PS 217 ('Discovering Game Theory') or more advanced equivalent in game theory.
