Thesis Writing in Political Science

POLSCI 791S

Provides an overview of the major sections of a research paper, including the introductory frame, literature review, theoretical argument, research design, discussion of the results, and conclusion. Student will read model examples, discuss best practices, practice writing each type of section, and receive feedback from the instructor. Required for MA students on the thesis track, and counts as three of the six ungraded credits needed for completion of the thesis track. Elective for PhD students.
