Major in Political Science; Minor in Philosophy
Hi everyone! My name is Hanson, and I am a senior majoring in Political Science concentrating in Political Theory. I am originally from Hong Kong, but grew up in NYC! On campus, I am involved in both music and IR! I sing Tenor 1 for Duke's premier all-male a cappella group Speak of the Devil, and am a member of the Alexander Hamilton Society! Within political science, I dedicate most of my time to mastering a mix of contemporary and classical topics within theory and political philosophy (hence a minor in phil). If you see me around campus, feel free to chat with me about anything that interests you--I'm always eager to learn more/have something to say in response!
Favorite Class: Academically, my law and politics class. I enjoy debating and discussing about contemporary politics and its underlying theory, which is what we spent most of our time on in that class. Non-academic, BASKETBALL CLASS. I get a kick out of locking people up.
