Class of 2025
Majors in Political Science and Economics; Minor in Psychology
I am a senior from Bergen County, New Jersey, majoring in Economics and Political Science and minoring in Psychology. At Duke, I am a Duke Presidential Ambassador (DPA), a member of the Duke International Relations Association (DIRA), a volunteer at the Duke Puppy Kindergarten and a Resident Assistant (RA). I previously served as Vice President of Kilgo Quad Council, as Community Partners Coordinator of Brown House Council and as an Orientation Leader. I am also a certified soccer referee and a waiter at The Commons, Duke’s on-campus fine dining restaurant. In my free time, I love to travel, watch soccer (I am a huge Liverpool fan!) and learn random trivia facts (recently appearing on the game show Jeopardy!).
Favorite Class: It’s hard to pick one, so I will go with two! They are ECON 313: The Uses of Economics, taught by Professor Jason Brent and ENGLISH 101S: The Art of Reading – Utopias and Dystopias in American Literature, taught by Professor Michael D'Alessandro. I enjoyed ECON 313 because I learned about economics through the lens of the wealthy. I also enjoyed ENGLISH 101S because I got to (re)read/(re)watch and some classic YA books/movies and engage in some great discussions with my classmates and professor.
