I am a Ph.D. candidate in political science at Duke University. My research focuses on U.S. foreign relations and Congress, and my dissertation project characterizes and explains congressional expression and public opinion on foreign policy from 1945 to 2022. Some of my other academic work is published or accepted at the Journal of Politics, Journal of Peace Research, Presidential Studies Quarterly, and Journal of Cold War Studies. While at Duke University, I have been affiliated with the America in the World Consortium, Duke’s program in American Grand Strategy, Triangle Institute for Security Studies, and the International Policy Scholars Consortium. Before graduate school, I was a research analyst at the Brookings Institution. I received my B.A. from Dartmouth College.
